My first words were “look at the White Pine”.
I’m fairly certain those words could only come from me because
my dad, a forester, taught me how to speak by pointing out trees, plants and their names.
I’m also fairly certain they sprung from my lips because his parents owned a mile of lakeshore south of the BWCA.
Growing up I spent a lot of time surrounded by those vast green forests and cold clear lakes.
It was difficult to not by influenced by those environments and the people in them.
They are the bones of my dreams, my language, and my artwork.
Please feel free to wander thru the galleries.
Comments and questions are always welcome here.
Thanks for your visit and attention.
They are greatly appreciated.

In the spring of 2024 five photographers came together to begin a year long project documenting climate adaptations in the St. Croix Watershed by the watershed itself & individuals, landowners, agencies, scientists, businesses and nonprofits.
We're photographing and videotaping the challenges and successes battling the changes we face there.
Please join us often to assist climate change by viewing our journey's progress with the link below.
And thanks for supporting us!
