Residencies

2018 Tofte Lake Arts Center, Ely, MN. I was given a residency to photograph women in the Ely area who are artists, businesspeople, environmental mining managers and directors, wolf researchers, sled dog guides and Girl Scout Guides who take folks into the BWCA for week to 2-week canoeing adventures.

2021 Sept-Oct 3 week Artist in Residence, St. Croix Watershed Research Center, Marine-on-the-St. Croix, MN. The Center has six scientists researching and working on water issues in the St. Croix Watershed, other lakes and rivers in Minnesota and the US and internationally. They are part of The Science Museum of Minnesota, St. Paul. My focus was beauty, art and science and where they intersect. I was given a remote cabin on the St. Croix River to live in for 3 weeks. Sony Electronics loaned me their 62mp A7R4, three lenses and an adapter for my Canon lenses.
