Current Projects

2022 “Racing to the County Line.” Art photography & prose. On going project with Dale Kakkak of the Menomonie Tribe, Menomonie, WI.

2022 “Tales of the Garden.” Photographic series based on the life of local garden, Minneapolis, MN

2022-2023 “Between What Surrounds Us” series and book of art photography of the St. Croix Watershed. Work explores the landscapes in the watershed and with the help of scientists at the St. Croix Watershed Research Center depicts the history and consequences of human impact on the area beginning with the first sawmill in Minnesota.

Residencies

2018 Tofte Lake Arts Center, Ely, MN. 1 week residency funded by the Jerome Foundation to photograph women in the Ely area who are artists, businesswomen, environmental mining managers and directors, wolf researchers, sled dog guides and Girl Scout Guides who take folks into the BWCA for week to 2 week canoeing adventures.

2021 Sept-Oct 3 week Artist in Residence, St. Croix Watershed Research Center, Marine-on-the-St. Croix, MN. The Center has six scientists researching and working on water issues in the St. Croix Watershed, other lakes and rivers in Minnesota and the US and internationally. They are part of The Science Museum of Minnesota, St. Paul. My focus was beauty, art and science and where they intersect. I was given a remote cabin on the St. Croix River to live in for 3 weeks. Sony Electronics loaned me their 62 mp A7R4, three lenses and an adapter for my Canon lenses.
