Currently and for the four seasons, 5 photographers are documenting the challenges and success of battling climate in the St. Croix Watershed.

These are their photographs.

Throughout a number of years, I've photographed flowers and gardens. Whenever someone asks me why I think Georgia O'Keefe's answer when she was asked "why flowers". She said "they don't move". Unless there is a wind, she's so correct. I photograph them because I find them to be very sculptural and my backfround is cast metal and welded scultpture.

Wittgenstein noted in his book on color that writing the word red is not the same as seeing the word red.

Consider the word war. Words are not enough.
